Cramlington 2021

An outstanding year perhaps our best todate

County Leagues
A great year winning the Knight League Div.1 and  finishing fourth in the Clegg League Div.1 Performance not so good in the Nines League finishing 5th out of nine teams

County Championship Programme.
Many of our members took part in the county programme playing in a number of singles and doubles matches without success. I’m sure they will try again next year.

County Jubilee Cup
Cramlington B present holders of the cup as there was no competition held in 2020 due to Covid restrictions. Having won the competition in 2018 and retaining it in 2019 We again entered two teams this year Cramlington A &  B. Unfortunately both teams were unsuccessful on the day a little disappointing but we will try again next year.

County Edwardson Cup
Semi-finals & Final Held at Gosforth on the 8th August 2021.
Cramlington played and beat Rothbury in the Semi-final going on to play a very strong Benfield side in the final. On this occasion Benfield proved too much for Cramlington who were runners-up. nevertheless a great result for the club

County Challenge Cup
Cramlington drawn to play in section D played at Alnwick on 7th August where they managed to win the group stage. The final was again played at Alnwick on 21st August where we managed to finish third overall. Another good result for the club.

Local League Games
Another successful year winning The Blyth Valley Veterans League, The Crawford Smith League and The Parliamentary Div. 1 league. Well done to all our members who took part in the leagues.

Klondyke 2021

Playing in both the Crawford Smith League and the Blyth Valley Veterans League. Although a disappointing result this year I’m sure better things are ahead. Well done to all our members who took part in the leagues.
