Please Note Information On This Page Applies To All The Days Of The Week

Rules of Play

Play will be limited to members who have either made a donation or fully paid the 2020 membership fee. If you wish to pay now please contact John Harrison on 01670 733377.

From Monday June 15th three rinks will be available for doubles, singles play or solo practice however rinks can now be booked independently (i.e. you no longer have the whole green in your name). Playing Pairs will be at members discretion and subject to all of the rules listed on this page.

Rinks must be pre-booked with the secretary (Bob Harrison on 01670 736022) who will allocate a time and rink. To view all weekly rink bookings go to Club Events and from its drop down menu select What’s On This Week. This will allow you to view the booking page

Play will be in 1 hour sessions.

Play will be maximum four players to a rink although individual practice is permitted, with at least a  rink separation between pairs/players Colour of the week to be observed as usual.

Players ideally should travel alone and arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of their session, and leave no more than 10 minutes after the end of their session.

Once all players in the group are inside the green, a lock other than the club lock should be secured on the gate to prevent access by any other party.

Players to change on separate benches outdoors.

Access to the clubhouse is for equipment retrieval only, once equipment is retrieved the clubhouse should be secured.

All players must bring sanitising equipment which must be used on jacks and mats before and after play.

No kitchen facilities are available.

From June 1st the green will be cut every Monday Wednesday and Friday. WHEN COUNCIL STAFF VISIT THE CLUB TO CARRY OUT GREEN MAINTENANCE WORK, MEMBERS MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES IMMEDIATELY AND ONLY RETURN AFTER THE COUNCIL STAFF HAVE LEFT THE CLUB. Failure to do so will result in our green no longer being maintained.

Anyone found to be flouting these rules will not be permitted back on the green until we have full opening.

Whilst these rules may seem draconian, members welfare is paramount and we feel that we have done everything possible to facilitate practice in a safe environment.

These rules will be reviewed in line with government guidelines.

As always please Stay Alert and Stay Safe.
