COMPETITION RULES
Round Robin competition.
All games to be played over 7 ends or 45 minutes ( determined by the blow of a whistle) whichever is completed first.
There will be no trial ends a maximum of 2 shots can be scored on the first end of the first game in round robin matches only. No restrictions in games thereafter.
No end to be commenced after the signal for the end of play.
Dead ends will count as an end played.
The group winners will be decided as follows.
The total number of points obtained (2 for a win and 1 for a Draw).
In the event of a tie, first place will be decided as follows.
A – Highest shots differential.
B – Highest shots scored.
If there is a tie for first place after A or B the result of the last game played by each of the tied teams, then one bowl to be played for one end between the tied teams. The rink to be determined by the umpire. The jack delivery will be by the spin of a coin.
The Six (6) Group winners, plus the best two (2) group runners up, will progress to the Knockout Stages.
Every game is 3 bowls per player
Knockout Stages
An Open draw will determine the matches for the finals.
All Games will be 8 ends.

If the scores are level after the ends are completed, an extra end will be played.
No player is allowed to visit the head at any time during the play.
The tournament Organiser’s decision will be final.
The Final Direction of play and rink allocation will be determined by Cramlington Bowling club. Alterations to game rules at either stages are discretionary to Cramlington Bowling Club.
